Tips for Writing Productivity: Time Budget

You may have heard this tip before, but I think it’s worth repeating–try keeping a record of where your time goes in a given day, and see where you can squeeze some writing in.

I think this tip is useful because it can work for the CEO writer or the SAHM writer; we all have different schedules, but, likely, there may be five or ten minutes here and there throughout the day that goes unused (or poorly used).

Usual culprit: social media, internet, scrolling. What if you took five minutes away from Facebook everyday and instead spent that time writing?

Suddenly you may have more time for writing than you thought.
